So. This is my last entry on this blog and the first time I'm writing in english. Sorry already for the writing mistakes you definitely will find.
After Canberra we spent the last days in Sydney. Though we had been there already for a couple of weeks we still got some new things to do. On Saturday eve we saw the amazing fireworks at Darling Harbour - I can only imagine how huge they've been on NYE... just amazing. Also popped in some random bar at the harbour listening to live music and dancing (propably for the last time for a while) in thongs (flipflops).
On Monday we had a private Northern Beaches tour (thank you Grant!) enjoying great views, the sun and the ocean and great company ofcourse. This was the last opportunity for us to get some more tan - hehe.
Northern Beaches and fireworks
Tuesday was the
day we left the crowded city and hopped on the Greyhound bus for the
very last time. You know we have been sleeping in all the most random
places so for the last night in OZ we wanted a little bit of luxory:
Rydges hotel at the airport was the perfect option for us: well, it was
at the airport (no shit Sherlock!), there was a nice gym, nice room and a
nice restaurant. The most important reason to get an own room was the
fact that we had to repack our backpacks - which actually went pretty
good. And surpricingly I could have brought even more stuff with me!
Ok.. not much but still ;)...
A little bit of luxory
Ok.. so.. My adventure in Down Under is now finished.. I really don't have enough words to describe how amazing it has been and I feel so damn blessed to have got the chance to experience all the incerdible things I did. There are some things I'm definitely going to miss... some of them are MANGOES ofcourse ;)... sunshine and the heat, walking around in thongs and shorts... but especially I'm going to miss the people and how open they are.. how easy it has been to make friends and meet new people in general... love it... ofcourse there are also things that I'm not going to miss.. one of them are BUGS! Like spiders.. cockroaches...ants... they're just too big for me - sorry ;D. But after all... I expected to see even more bugs (and all other sorts of weird creatures) than I did... :)
Now it's time to thank you all amazing people who have really made this adventure so special. Special thanks goes to Steve and Kerry at Three Waters, Grant, Davina and Geoff, Pen and Mac, Scotty and Emilia and Scott's lovely family, and all you great lovely people we met travelling around like us <3 Really without all you guys this trip woudn't even been half as amazing than it was! :) THANK YOU!!!!
